About Us

Be Inspired began in 1997 as The Pitcher of Health, a small health food and supplement store in the Village of Fairport. After 10 years of service, we envisioned changes and expansion that would embody a more holistic view of wellness, which eventually led us to moving the shop, in October of 2007, to Bushnell’s Basin. Our new location provided more space and parking as well as easier access due to its close proximity to I-490. Since that time, our reputation and our offerings have grown, and we have changed our name to better reflect all that we are ~ a place inspired by all that is natural, healing, and nurturing.

Naturally Healing & Inspiring

Be Inspired provides a blend of naturally healing and inspiring products and gifts of the highest quality. We carry health products whose manufacturers adhere to the highest standards in raw materials and processing as well as in the end product. Our selection of bath, body, and skin care products meet equally strict standards. They are natural and chemical free, while maintaining the satisfaction and pleasure we look for in our personal care products. The majority of our inspirational gift items are hand crafted from natural materials as well. Visit us to discover what nourishes and inspires you… naturally!

Service Oriented

Be Inspired is known for its service because you are our source of inspiration! Meeting your needs is our highest priority. Whether you know what you are looking for or need education and guidance, our goal is to help you find exactly what you want for the best possible price, even if this means directing you elsewhere. Our shop is customer driven. Rather than providing products in the hope of you finding what you need, your needs determine much of what we carry. Individual needs and requests are as important as those items that are in greater demand.

Sense of Community

Be Inspired is a positive presence in the community aimed at establishing supportive relationships. This involves the exchange of information and the sharing of experiences regarding various products and services that promote a sense of well-being. We learn from one another. An emphasis is placed upon items produced within our community, and we strive to provide a number of free workshops and demonstrations to educate and increase awareness of local services.
